Low Emission Zone
Damyns Hall lies on the very edge of the LEZ, the border line for the LEZ is in Warwick Lane which is also the border of Damyns Hall. As there is an entrance to the site from Warwick Lane it is possible to enter the show without going into the LEZ. As Military and Flying Machines is held on private ground the LEZ is not applicable to the show site. For the duration of the show the main entrance to the Airfield (which lies approximately 200 meters within the LEZ) is designated as emergency and exhibitor access only. If you are an exhibitor and your vehicle and/or support vehicle is deemed to be non-compliant, you may use the entrance marked with a yellow diamond located close to the Aveley road end of Warwick Lane to enter the show ground by way of the A13 and the south. These plans have been reviewed by the appropriate authorities and agreed. In short if you have an LEZ non-compliant vehicle you can still attend the show with it by using the markedentrance. Q: Is my vehicle and/or support vehicle compliant to the LEZ requirements? A: Go to the Transport for London LEZ web site www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/lez/ where you can enter your vehicle and/or support vehicle into the search engine there, which will then tell you if your vehicle is compliant or not. If your vehicle and/or support vehicle is compliant then you can enter via the Exibitors entrance shown on the detailed map below. If it is not then you can enter the show via the marked entrance close to the Aveley road end of Warwick Lane, without going into the LEZ. as the airfield is private land the LEZ does not apply. NB. If in the event your vehicle and/or support vehicle does not comply it is worth talking to Transport for London (contact details on their web site www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/lez/ ) as it sometimes only requires a change of your vehicles description on the registration document to make it compliant.
